Christoph Waltz & Inglourious Basterds.

There's a good chance I'm a little in love with actor Christoph Waltz. He won his first Oscar last night for his supporting role as Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds. In my opinion he was the best part of the film. The opening scene is amazing, but the historical inaccuracies in it made the historian in me cringe. I understand it's supposed to be a revenge film, a poetic wouldn't it be awesome if this really happened film. I must admit it would have been great if a Jew got to kill Hitler, but sadly, that is not what happened. It was a well made film though, with great performances, characters, and I especially liked how the languages were authentic. Quentin Tarantino is a fantastic director, and I would have loved to have seen him walk away with Best Director, but there is always next year.
